What Happens After You Order a Trekk Spaces Shed: Your Delivery & Assembly Journey

One of the most common questions from first-time shed buyers is what happens after I hit ‘buy’? Understanding the process from order to completed build removes a lot of the uncertainty that can hold people back from making a decision. Here is a clear, step-by-step walkthrough of what to expect when you order a Trekk Spaces shed.

Once your order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation email outlining what you have purchased, your delivery details, and what to expect next. The Trekk Spaces team reviews all orders and will be in touch if there is anything that needs clarification.

Step 2: Delivery Scheduling

Trekk Spaces delivers Australia-wide. Your shed will be dispatched and delivered to your kerbside, meaning the delivery driver will bring the pallet to the front of your property, and you will be responsible for moving it from there to your prepared site. You will receive tracking information so you can plan accordingly.

Most deliveries arrive within the timeframe outlined at checkout, though regional areas may experience slightly longer lead times. If you have a specific delivery date requirement, contact the team before ordering to confirm feasibility.

Step 3: Receiving Your Delivery

When your order arrives, take the time to check all components against the packing list included in your order. If anything is missing or damaged, photograph it immediately and contact the Trekk Spaces support team. Do not attempt to assemble the shed with damaged or missing components, the team will arrange replacements promptly.

Step 4: Site Preparation

If you have not already prepared your base, now is the time. Ensure your site is level, well-drained, and ready to receive the shed. The most common base options are a steel sub frame, concrete slab, treated timber bearers, or a compacted gravel pad. Your chosen base should be at least as large as the footprint of your shed.

Step 5: Assembly

Trekk Spaces sheds are designed for achievable DIY assembly. Each shed comes with clear, step-by-step instructions, and most builds can be completed by two people with basic tools in a day. The panels are pre-cut and some even pre-primed, which significantly reduces on-site work.

If you prefer not to assemble the shed yourself, Trekk Spaces can recommend qualified assemblers in your area. Contact the team for details.

Step 6: Finishing Touches

Once your shed is assembled, the final step is applying a finishing topcoat of exterior paint and sealing all joints with a paintable exterior sealant. This protects the timber from moisture and UV and significantly extends the life of the structure. After that, your space is ready to use.
